Brinkworth Cheese

Artisan Wiltshire

This family has been farming at Hill End Farm since 1910, when William Collingborn first established our pedigree Friesian herd. Nestled in the heart of the Dauntsey Vale, our cows graze for around 240 days each year on traditional, lush pastures – producing rich, flavourful milk at their own gentle pace.

Today, the herd remains deliberately small, allowing us to care for each animal individually and keep stress to a minimum.

Ceri is the fifth generation of our family to continue the cheesemaking tradition here on the farm. In 2005, she brought back to life the historic Wiltshire Loaf – once mentioned by Jane Austen in Emma – which went on to win Best Territorial Cheese at the British Cheese Awards.

We now craft a distinctive range of five farmhouse cheeses, including two blues – each rooted in our land, our history, and our commitment to quality.
